My first wedding cake at the new Trump Carriage House. Wow, what a view! I wish my photography skills allowed you to see the incredible fall colors outside those windows.
Laura and Andrew chose Vanilla Chiffon Layers filled with Raspberry Curd and Triple Cream alternating with Chocolate Sour Cream Layers filled with Chocolate Mousse and Raspberry Curd.
The staff who served it said it was crazy good! And that is what this baker loves to hear.
This has been one of my favorite designs this season. The David Austen roses with it are just perfect.
Laura's intimate wedding dinner was held in a downtown art gallery. Who could have guessed that the cake and the painting it was displayed in front of would complement each other! Albert Barnes would be so proud.
In the design we included some jewelry from Laura's family which was a nod to her love of jewelry and the women who came before her.
There is much I would love to say about this cake, but the most incredible part was the flavor combination.
Vanilla Butter Layers with Fresh Local Peach Filling, Mascarpone Whipped Cream and iced with Vanilla Buttercream. If one is getting married during peach season, this is one to consider!
